Joint Pain

1.Rheumatoid Arthritis (Aamvat) Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease which can affect more than your joints. It's an autoimmune disease which can affect multiple systems in your body including skeletal, skin, eyes, heart, blood vessels and lungs.
RA causes damage in the lining of the joints, causing inflammation, painful swelling, bone erosion resulting in permanent joint deformity. According to Ayurveda, Aamvata is a disease due to imbalance of Vata and increase in Ama in your body. Vata is one of the 3 doshas while Ama is poorly digested toxic remnants in the body, which is not homogeneous to the body.
Symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis (Aamvat):
-Joint pain
-Swelling in joints
-Redness
-Morning stiffness
-Fatigue
-Fever
-Loss of appetite
-Constipation
Causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis (Aamvat):
According to Allopathic opinion, it's an Autoimmune disease in which your immune system attacks healthy tissues in your joints.
While Ayurveda states:

विरुध्दाहारचेष्टस्य मन्दाग्नेर्निश्चलस्य च।
स्निग्धं भुक्तवतो ह्यन्नं व्यायामं कुर्वतस्तथा।।
वायुना प्रेरितो ह्यामः श्लेष्मस्थानं प्रधावती।
तेनात्यर्थं विदग्धो$सौधमनीः प्रतिपद्यते।।


Means consuming food made with wrong combination, which are heavy to digest, sedentary lifestyle, poor digestion or heavy workout after having food can lead to increase in Ama. Affected Vata spreads this Ama in whole body, starting to deposit it in the joints, producing symptoms.


2.Osteoarthritis (Sandhigat vat)
The most common type of joint disease, affecting million of people worldwide. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease which affects the protecting cartilage, ligaments and tendons in the joint resulting in painful movement of the joint with stiffness.
According to Ayurveda Sandigat Vata is a disease caused by imbalance of Vata dosha in body, affecting particular joint. The Ruksha guna of Vata dosha does the bone and cartilage, leading to weak joint with crepitus and pain.
Symptoms of Osteoarthritis (Sandhigat Vata):
-Joint pain which slowly increases with time
-Crepitus
-Swelling
-Stiffness
-Decreased flexibility of the joint
-Bone spurs i.e. extra bony growth
-Joint deformity, if ignored for many years
Causes of Osteoarthritis (Sandhigat Vata):
Main cause is joint damage which can be a result of past trauma or age or frequent accidents or poor posture.
According to Ayurveda Sandhigat Vata is caused by external trauma on the particular joints. Or wrong eating habits like fasting frequently, eating very dry food items, bakery products, chilled did and water, leading to increased Vata dosha in the body affecting the joint. Some habits like staying up late night, using cold water for bath in every season, no exercise or heavy exercise which is intolerable to the body or excessive thinking and stress can vitiate Vata dosha. And this leads I'm diseased and painful joint
3. Gout (Vatrakta):
Gout is a type of arthritis in which uric acid crystal deposit in the joint causing sever pain and burning of the particular joint. Gout is characterized by sudden pain attack, mostly starting with the big toe.
